Incredibly eerie before-and-after footage of popular landmarks, from Australia's Bondi Beach to the Taj Mahal in India, shot from the same locations, before and after strict government measures were put into place to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Normally bustling sites all over the Asia-Pacific region are currently hollowed-out versions of themselves due to concerns and lockdowns over COVID-19.

More than 980,000 people have been reported infected by the virus across the world and nearly 47,000 have died.
