KALAPATTHAR | MOUNT EVEREST VIEWPOINT | 5644M | 4K

Kala Patther Situated at an elevation of 5,644m lies close to the Everest Base Camp in the Khumbu region of Nepal inside Solukhumbu district. The site also provides a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of the Mahalangur Himalayan Range. The significant summits visible from here are Mount Everest, Nuptse , Amadablam etc. and Changtse mountain of China. However, the summit of Everest is not visible due to the structure of Everest massif which Mt Nuptse blocks.

Kalapatthar is one of the popular spots and also the final highest elevation for trekkers in Everest Base Camp Trek. Kalapatthar which lies in the Khumbu region of Nepal falls under the Solukhumbu district with an altitude of 5545 meters above sea level.
